1. Do I have to be in college to participate in Shiekh
Team?
The preferred age range for the Shiekh Team is 16-24 years old. So,
if you fall within the age range, you're all good.

2. What exactly are we going to be doing besides promoting
Shiekh?
Besides promoting our events, you're also going to be creating your
own local programming (basketball tournaments, Open Mic nights,
community service, etc.). Shiekh Team is not just a promotion team,
but a local
organization. Shiekh corporate marketing will a
lot of your local programming with FREE stuff (or money, if
approved). Consider Shiekh Team like a hip youth-driven community
organization, which focuses on urban lifestyle...from fashion and
music to sports and entertainment. The ideas are endless! We'll
have some events come from corporate (like our Jabbawockeez or
Kayne West meet and greet), but the rest will come from the local
Shiekh Team members. Since the members live in the local area, you
know better than we do in regards to what's happening, what's
relevant, and what the Shiekh Team should be doing to engage the
community and promote the culture. Everything you do will not be
about or directly linked to Shiekh stores, but it will be part of
Shiekh Team!

3. When do we get promotional materials to promote Shiekh
events?
We'll try to send promotional materials out next 4 weeks before the
event (sometimes it's a shorter window). The Shiekh Team Manager
should plan atleast 3 outtings with the members. Go flyer at
colleges and high schools. Contact promoters of All Ages and 18+
nightclubs and ask if the Shiekh Team can come invade the night
with giveaways (you'll decorate with posters, banners, and pass out
flyers). And any other creative ideas you might have. Sometimes, we
give you t-shirts to wear that is related to the upcoming event.
The members should wear the t-shirts at all times when you're out
promoting (see the pics on ShiekhTeam.com how the Shiekh Team LA

4. How often will my city get hit with events?
Because we have so many stores in multiple states, Shiekh corporate
marketing department can't possibly plan enough events for all of
our local communities. We do not have a set minimum or maximum
number of events...they just come when they come (often based on
talent's availibility). However, that doesn't mean the Shiekh Team
shouldn't be active at all times. The Shiekh Team members can
create their own events, participate in community service, and do
things together (outtings and parties). We take cues from our
Shiekh Team. If there's something coming up in the community...a
concert, an athletic match, a volunteer opportunity, etc...let us
know.

5. What does it take to be a Shiekh Team Manager
Shiekh Team Managers have increased responsibilities including (but
not limited to) planning activities (from beginning to end),
reporting to Shiekh's corporate marketing department (with photos
and/or video), and being a contact person for local the Shiekh
Team. You must have a personal digital camera and decent writing
skills. Shiekh Team Managers earn extra Shiekh Points for their
extra effort. There are often special bonuses too!

6. What the heck are Shiekh Points and how do I earn
them?
Shiekh Team members earn Shiekh Points for participating in
"eligible activities." You can save them up and redeem them for
Shiekh merchandise and other stuff that we might come up with.

7. Where do I find out how many Shiekh Points I have?
Once you've been accepted into the local Shiekh Team, you'll have
access to the "ST Members Only" section on ShiekhTeam.com. Click on
the link on the "Shiekh Team" drop-down tab to access the login
page.
