About Me

Rius, a singer-songwriter who currently resides in the Bay Area, California, has always had a voracious appetite for great music and immersed himself into the artistry of timeless singer-songwriters from an early age. He swiftly discovered his comfort in front of an audience and his yearning to be on stage, and soon realized that he was born to be an entertainer. After numerous shows, years of singing, and performing in front of large venues and diverse crowds, Rius found his musical calling in Pop and R&B.

He quotes his wide array of influences to be Nat King Cole, Elvis Presley, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, EWF, the Temptations, as well as his greatest music hero and idol, Michael Jackson. He loves Motown, Oldies, Doo-Wop, Disco, Funk, Hip Hop, and Rock & Roll. With all these musical influences infused, his unique sound crosses over to the borders of Dance, Pop, R&B, and Neo-Soul. This variety in his music interests inspired the diverse, well-rounded feel of his sound.
