ENTERTAINMENT NEWS: Taking a Break for Charity

While taking a break from the music scene, Beyonce has started a training program for a new rehab center in Brooklyn, NY.

Mayor Bloomberg says, "Beyonce will be in Brookyln [today] to cut the ribbon on a very special project -the Beyonce Cosmetology Center at Phoenix House, a rehab center. Phoenix House runs something called the Career Academy, which is a residential substance abuse treatment program that offers vocational training programs. Beyonce's new venture will allow men and women in treatment to prepare for careers in the cosmetology field after a seven month training course."

Kudos to Beyonce for helping those in need.
